MBlock.py Screen Shots

MBlock is the mathematical building block script in Python.  It is still in development.  A copy of the most recent release of mblock.py can either be found in the downloads section or on sourceforge.  In the READ MORE section I go through 5 proof of concept examples with explanations and sample outputs.

Enjoy, and if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.

MBlock in LaTeX (Python)

screenshotIt's been a long time coming, but at last some demo code for the Python MBlock code.  Here's a sample of the documents that can be created using Python and MBlock embedded in a LaTeX document.  Source code is included free for download.  Feel free to tinker, and use the Read more link for a more in depth explanation.

MBlock.py Source Code

Mblock is an open source Python script that is being developed for the fields of mathematics, education, and engineering. The three guiding design principles are:
  1. Create an object-oriented python script that can represent mathematical concepts and their properties.
  2. Represent all numeric values exactly.
  3. Provide a variety of formats to export or embed representations of the mathematical concepts.
Below is the alpha release for MBlock (v0.1). It is also available through sourceforge.net at http://sourceforge.net/projects/mblock/. If you find it useful, please feel free to donate. Mblock is released under the open source GNU-GPL license, so feel free to use and modify it for your own purposes. If you have any suggestions, I will be glad to entertain them. Either email me or submit a feature request on sourceforge at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=333882&atid=1399674.

Enjoy !
